The Jerry Eze Foundation, led by Pastor Jerry Eze, has disbursed an impressive N1 billion in business grants to a total of 240 entrepreneurs who received approximately $3,000 each to help them scale their businesses, transform operations, and initiate new ventures.

The selection process for grant recipients was meticulously managed by the global consulting firm KPMG, ensuring transparency and fairness. Out of over 16,000 applicants who registered on the grant portal, 9,668 completed the application process and met the stringent criteria set by the foundation.

Priority for the grants was given to businesses operating in three vital sectors: agriculture and agribusiness, manufacturing, and technology and digital services.

During the event, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, former Vice President of the World Bank for Africa and Nigeria’s ex-Minister of Education, delivered a powerful message to the grant recipients.

She urged them to leverage the resources and opportunities now at their disposal, stating, “You no longer have the luxury of starting small and staying there. The resources have been placed in your hands. The platform has been given. The acceptable direction is impact at scale. Africa is watching. Build accordingly.”
