Sevilla striker Akor Adams has said it is important for the Super Eagles to begin immediate preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, losing to the bitter rivals, Ghana in the playoffs.

The three-time African champions will also not be present at this year’s edition which will be co-hosted by three countries, Canada, Mexico, USA.

Eric Chelle’s side lost on penalities to Democratic Republic of Congo in the final of the African playoffs.

Adams insisted that work must start earnestly to ensure that the Super Eagles return to the global soccer fiesta in 2030.

‎”The preparation starts from now. It starts every day leading up to the World Cup 2030,” Adams declared.
