Ghana’s technical team continues to take shape following the appointment of Carlos Queiroz, with experienced analyst Pierre Bazie set to work as opposition scout for the Black Stars, GHANAsoccernet.com can report 

Bazie, who holds both Ivorian and Danish nationality, brings a diverse coaching and analytical background to the role as Ghana intensify preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 43-year-old has built his career largely in Denmark, where he gained valuable experience in youth development and player analysis.

He previously worked as assistant manager at Hellerup Youth and served as a youth coach at Virum-Sorgenfri BK.

His technical expertise also saw him take up a role as individual coach for both the first team and youth sides at AC Horsens.

Between January 2024 and June 2025, Bazie further enhanced his credentials as assistant coach of Lyngby BK U19, where he played a key role in developing young talents within the club’s system.

On the international stage, Bazie most recently served as assistant coach of the Burkina Faso national football team. However, his contract was terminated in January following the team’s campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

His appointment is expected to strengthen Ghana’s match preparation, particularly in opponent analysis, as Queiroz assembles a well-rounded backroom staff aimed at boosting the Black Stars’ competitiveness on the global stage.
