FORMER Ikeleng’i UPND MP Elijah Muchima says government should focus on road infrastructure development in Ikeleng’i to attract investment in the area.

Dr Muchima says during his tenure as member of Parliament, ensuring road connectivity was a priority, but that the construction of schools and clinics was what the community demanded for. He says the lack of decent roads has limited investment in the area.

In an interview, Monday, Dr Muchima said the major economic priority in his former constituency is the road network connecting Zhimbe to Mwinilunga and Mutanda. “In my constituency, how many vehicles are there [for] people to be attracted or investors to come [and] invest their money? Zero. Sesheke road, same thing, you need a road.
